Happy Autumn

We had ninety degree weather the other day, but while driving later that evening, I saw leaves blowing across a country road, with that magical, rolling bluster of fall. Each season has it's own unique sort of wonder...and I have to say fall is my favorite.

Here in the Pacific Northwest sometimes we don't really get a real winter but we always get a true fall. This is a green place, so there is lots of dramatic change to celebrate.

And I love vintage images.  Although I can appreciate the modern, clean lines of places of Ikea, I'd much rather shop at one of the local shops full of vintage and antique items.  Full of memories.

I don't do a lot to decorate the house for fall, but I made a little tribute to the season with this three page card. The last page has a little space with a special cut out of my two year old daughter,( she's ten now) dressed in her finery.

Have you made anything for Fall? Do you have any special crafts you're planning to do?
What is your favorite season?

This is my submission for this weeks Daily Dose of Inspiration on the Party Time Tuesday Blog. If you love paper, card making, altered art, mixed media, and just being creative pop over there and have a look around, because there is really so much too see!
