Thoughts on old churches

We have visited a lot of churches.  Not only because they are often the oldest, grandest structures but because of the stories, histories and art they hold.  The stone architecture of high walls and arched ceilings from ages past can't  be ignored just because they are religious buildings. And of course in Europe  there are grand churches everywhere.
