I was going to continue in the vein of finding sophisticated culture in the everyday silly and mundane, but Emma's recent post is more important.
I will take it one step further and say this is the reason I vote republican. Many think the President has failed the country, but his choices for the supreme court justices are the ONLY REASON this law was up held.

    Amen and Amen. I'm still an independent, however. As Ronald Reagan said of the Democratic party, "I didn't leave them. They left me." I'm waiting for them to come back to what they had been for 150 years. When they do, I'll reregister with the party. Until then, I hope my absence will send a message.
