Day 4 and 5

DAY 4, Sunday - Cognac, Bordeaux
Heading south west, stop at the small town of Cognac, to visit one of the cellars where the finest French brandies are produced. Afterward, travel south to the wine producing region of Bordeaux, where you will view Quinquonces Square, the Grand Theatre and the Victory Arch during an orientation tour

DAY 5, Monday - Visit St. Emilion, Bordeaux
This morning enjoy a tour of St. Emilion, a World Heritage site that dates to the prehistoric. The Romans planted vineyards in the 2nd century and the tradition was carried on by the monk Emilion, a traveling confessor, who with the help of his companions started commercial wine production in the area. Then enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, where you may choose to take a stroll down Rue St. Catherine, a main pedestrian thoroughfare running through the historic district, and peruse its local boutiques in lively downtown Bordeaux
